The Sleuk Rith Institute

The Sleuk Rith institute is a permanent documentation center for genocide study of Cambodia. The institute is a project of Document Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam) which is an organization leading in documenting about Pol Pot regime since 1995.

Zaha Hadid Architects got commission to design this future building of the center. The design is leaded by  DaeWha Kang who has been working in Zaha Hadid Architects since 2004. DaeWha studied Architecture at Princeton University and the Yale School of Architecture in the United States. He lectured at at Columbia University, the Pratt Institute (New York), the Bartlett School of Architecture and taught with Zaha at Yale in 2007.

The drawings and the video were shoot from the presentation of DaeWha at Royal University of Find Arts in Phnom Penh.
